In Kazakhstan, police continue to hold streamers accountable. One of them was fined for publishing illegal content, reports infohub.kz.

The Shymkent Police Department posted on its Instagram page a fragment of a live broadcast from the social network TikTok, in which illegal actions were detected by a 32-year-old local resident, whose account is called Moldirmonika94. According to law enforcement, the streamer was detained.

"It was established that during the broadcasts, the woman posted illegal content and also asked viewers to transfer money, using a number belonging to another person for the transfers," police said.

Following the investigation, the citizen was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine.

The police remind: being public on social networks does not exempt from responsibility. Any illegal actions, including those committed during live broadcasts, receive an appropriate legal assessment.

Earlier, in the Zhambyl region, a 41-year-old streamer was hospitalized to a mental health center after conducting live broadcasts on a social network. And bloggers from Almaty were arrested for indecent content and use of profanity during live broadcasts.
