The board of directors appointed Shyngys Aidarbekovich Orazalimov as chairman of the management board of National Information Technologies JSC (NIT) by a decision dated October 30, infohub.kz reports.
The NIT press service announced the appointment of the new head. Shyngys Orazalimov was born on January 23, 1994, and is 32 years old. He brings experience in digital technology, product management, strategic development and government service automation.
In 2015 he graduated from the International University of Information Technology with a degree in computer engineering and software, and in 2017 he earned a degree in project management.
Orazalimov began his career in November 2014 as a digital specialist. From November 2014 to June 2019 he worked at Smart Digital Consulting LLP, KulanOil LLP, Kazpost JSC, Samruk Kazyna Contract LLP, the Fintech Hub of the Astana International Financial Centre JSC and Toolpar LLP.
From July 2019 to January 2021 he served as a product manager at BTS Digital LLP.
From January to August 2022 he worked at the State Corporation Government for Citizens NJSC, where he held the posts of director of the strategic development department of the staff, director of the front-office coordination department and project manager of the digitalization office of the management board.
From August 2022 to June 2023 he was managing director for IT of the management board staff at the State Corporation Government for Citizens NJSC.
From June 2023 to April 2024 he served as deputy chairman of the management board of the State Corporation Government for Citizens NJSC.
From July 2024 until this appointment, Shyngys Orazalimov worked as deputy chairman of the management board for eGov development at National Information Technologies JSC.
