A 24-year-old Singaporean man has appeared in court accused of secretly filming visitors to men's public toilets, infohub.kz reports.
He faces two voyeurism charges — unlawfully observing and recording intimate moments without a person's consent. Investigators allege the man carried out systematic covert filming of men in restrooms.
The first recorded incident dates to May 26, 2023, when the accused filmed a man near a urinal. According to case materials, most of the alleged offenses took place between February 24 and December 23, 2025. Over those months, the Singaporean secretly recorded at least 369 such videos, which captured 410 victims.
The formal charges were read to the man on October 30, but at this stage of the proceedings he has pleaded not guilty. The next hearing in the criminal case is scheduled for November 27.
Under Singapore law, each voyeurism charge carries a maximum of two years in prison, a fine, caning, or a combination of these penalties.
