The death toll from a forest fire in Spain's Almeria province has risen to 13, with most victims being foreign nationals and dozens still missing, reports infohub.kz citing Reuters.
The wildfire broke out in southeastern Spain last week amid extreme heat. An investigation into its cause is underway. One theory suggests the fire started after an electric cable fell onto a roadway.
The flames have scorched approximately 7,000 hectares. Authorities have described the fire as one of the deadliest in the country in recent years.
