The superhero action film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios has delivered one of the most successful launches in global cinema history. In its opening weekend, the movie grossed $927 million worldwide, trailing only "Avengers: Endgame." Domestically, it earned $355 million in North America, while international box office receipts totaled $572 million, including $121 million from China.
Additionally, the film set an all-time record for preview screenings, raking in $72 million, and its first-day earnings reached $168 million. Tom Holland reprises his role for the fourth time, with a cast that also includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, and Sadie Sink. Destin Daniel Cretton directed the project.
