A video shot in the Mega Alma-Ata shopping mall is gaining popularity on social media: about ten people in Spider-Man costumes appeared on an escalator at the same time. In a day, the clip garnered over 54,000 views.
Users joke in the comments that a portal to the multiverse or a cloning station has opened in the city. Others noted an obvious reference to the famous meme with superheroes pointing at each other.
Meanwhile, another "spider" initiative is gaining momentum in Almaty. Blogger Dimash Aubakirov announced on Instagram a gathering of fans before the premiere of the new film. He suggested that fans in superhero costumes go to the movies together. Residents of Almaty over 18 can join.
The buzz is noticeable not only on social media. At the pre-sale of tickets in Almaty cinemas, most of the best seats are already taken, and some screenings have almost no free seats left. Recall that the premiere of the blockbuster in Kazakhstan is August 6.
