The White House and the Pentagon have developed plans to use the massive MOAB aerial bomb against military targets in Iran, according to infohub.kz.

The United States is considering using the MOAB, known as the "mother of all bombs," to strike Iranian military sites. Pentagon officials said they are preparing for various military operation scenarios.

"The Department of War is developing plans for a wide range of operational scenarios to carry out the president's and secretary's guidance at the highest level and ensure mission success under any conditions," a department spokesperson said.

The White House declined to confirm the existence of specific plans.

"We do not comment on confidential military plans that may or may not exist. President Trump is considering all possible options to guarantee that Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon," an administration spokesperson said.

The MOAB is considered the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal. It weighs over 13.6 tons and costs about $170,000. In 2017, the US military used it against an Islamic State cave complex in Afghanistan.
