Storm warnings have been issued for 16 regions of Kazakhstan on October 14. According to the Kazhydromet forecast, fog, dust storms, and wind gusts up to 20 m/s are expected in the regions, with extreme fire danger persisting in some areas, reports infohub.kz.
In Atyrau Region, a dust storm is forecast during the day in the north and east. Southeast wind gusts in these areas will reach 15-20 m/s. In Atyrau, a dust storm is also expected during the day, with wind increasing to 15-18 m/s.
In West Kazakhstan Region, a dust storm is expected during the day in the south and center. Southeast wind gusts there will also be 15-20 m/s.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote that Kazhydromet predicted a cold snap at the beginning of the week, ice and snow in the north, and heavy precipitation in the east and southeast of Kazakhstan. Nighttime temperatures in the north and center of the country may drop to -6 °C in places, and to -5 °C in the east.
