According to the state weather service Kazhydromet, high fire danger remains in Astana tomorrow. High fire danger also persists in Akmola Region on September 16.
In Abai Region, rain and thunderstorms are expected in the west and north during the day tomorrow. Northwesterly winds will reach 15–20 m/s in the west and north of the region during the day. High fire danger persists across the region, with extreme fire danger in the south.
In East Kazakhstan Region, rain and thunderstorms are forecast in the northwest during the day on September 16. Northwesterly winds will reach 15–20 m/s in the north and east of the region during the day. High fire danger persists across the region.
In Kostanay Region, fog is forecast in the west and north overnight and in the morning tomorrow. High fire danger persists in the southeast of the region.
In Pavlodar Region, rain and thunderstorms are expected in the north overnight on September 16, and in the north, east and center of the region during the day. Northwesterly winds will gust to 15–20 m/s in the east and center of the region during the day. High fire danger persists across the region.
In North Kazakhstan Region, rain and thunderstorms are forecast in the north, east and south. Fog is expected in the west of the region overnight and in the morning. Westerly and northwesterly winds will gust to 15–20 m/s in the north, east and south of the region. High fire danger persists in the south and east of the region.
In Mangystau Region, high fire danger persists in the north and center on September 16, with extreme fire danger in the northeast.
In Turkistan Region, a dust storm is forecast in the west. Northeasterly winds will gust to 15–20 m/s in the west and mountainous areas of the region. Extreme fire danger persists.
In Shymkent, northeasterly winds will gust to 15–20 m/s on September 16. Extreme fire danger persists.
In West Kazakhstan Region, rain and thunderstorms are expected. Southwesterly winds will gust to 15–20 m/s in the west, north and east of the region during the day.
In Almaty Region, short-term rain and thunderstorms are forecast in the foothills and mountains on September 16. Northwesterly winds will shift to northeasterly, gusting to 15–20 m/s in the east and mountainous areas of the region during the day. Extreme fire danger persists across the region, with high fire danger in the south.
In Karaganda Region, high fire danger persists tomorrow, with extreme fire danger in the west of the region. Extreme fire danger also persists in Ulytau Region.
