An incident occurred in New Moscow: a student brought a cold weapon to school and attacked a teacher. The attacker was subdued by security, reports the website infohub.kz.
Denis Bakharev, the principal of School No. 1392 in New Moscow, said that in the morning a student with health issues came to the building with a cold weapon and attempted to attack a teacher. According to him, the teenager was immediately subdued by security.
As a result of the attack, the teacher sustained superficial injuries. He is receiving necessary medical assistance, and his life is not in danger. Police are working at the school, and an internal investigation is underway.
The press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow stated that they had not received information about the incident and recommended contacting the Investigative Committee. The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Moscow declined to comment.
