Judge Zarema Khamidullina, presiding over the case of Sultan Sarsemaliyev, announced the decision regarding the future of his five minor children, reports infohub.kz.
The court ordered that guardianship and placement of the children be transferred to the Education Department of Atyrau region. Additionally, the akimat of Kyzylkoginsky district was instructed to formalize inheritance rights to the house left after the deceased in the village of Zhaneldin to protect the children's property interests, the judge noted.
Sultan Sarsemaliyev is the father of five children, the youngest born in 2025. On February 3, 2026, the district commission on minors' affairs and protection of their rights decided to place the children under state guardianship. Previously, they were cared for by Sarsemaliyev's mother. Initially, the three older children were placed in the Center for Adaptation of Minors, while the two younger ones – aged one and three years – were sent to a specialized children's home. Later, it became known that four children aged three to nine are in the Atyrau Center for Adaptation of Minors, and the youngest continues to be raised in a specialized institution.
