A resident of Karaganda discovered the loss of his wallet after money was debited from his bank card for purchases. The man contacted the police, and soon the suspect was detained, reports the website infohub.kz.

The 59-year-old Karaganda resident received notifications in the bank's mobile app about debits, after which he checked his pocket and found that the wallet was missing. Along with the bank cards, his ID and cash were stolen.

When contacting the police, the victim could not provide exact information about the place and circumstances of the loss or theft, which complicated the initial investigation. Police officers immediately launched search operations, understanding that time was critical in identifying and detaining the suspect and recovering the stolen property.

As a result of the search operations, the identity of a 37-year-old resident of Karaganda was soon established, and he was detained. According to preliminary data, he committed the theft. It turned out that he was the one who used the stolen bank cards. Upon detention, physical evidence was seized from the suspect.

Currently, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated, during which all circumstances of the incident will be established.
