Svetlana Maslyakova, the director of the Club of the Funny and Inventive (KVN) and widow of the show's longtime host Alexander Maslyakov, has passed away at the age of 78, reports infohub.kz.
The official KVN Telegram channel announced the loss, stating: "Today the large KVN family sadly reports an irreplaceable loss — Svetlana Anatolyevna Maslyakova has passed away. A great woman director whose name became a symbol of KVN is gone. She broke stereotypes, paving the way for generations, was a faithful companion to Alexander Vasilyevich, and always set an example for aspiring KVN participants. We will remember her forever."
According to RBC, Svetlana Maslyakova was 78 years old.
