A 43-year-old Swiss man has been arrested following the shooting at a rave in Switzerland on Sunday. This was reported by infohub.kz.
The incident occurred at a techno rave held at a horse racing track in Aarau, a town about 46 km (29 miles) west of Zurich. A 22-year-old Italian woman was killed and several other people were injured.
After the shooting, police launched a manhunt. Aarau canton police confirmed they apprehended the suspect shortly before 01:00 on Monday (23:00 GMT on Sunday). The search lasted nearly 24 hours.
Police said in a statement: "The investigation into the exact sequence of events, the background, and the possible motive is currently underway. At this time, it is assumed that the perpetrator acted alone."
