A specialized administrative court in Taraz has heard two cases against a medical clinic that violated licensing norms and technical security requirements for facilities handling narcotic drugs, reports infohub.kz.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Zhambyl region courts, the clinic was charged with violations under Part 1 of Article 464 and Part 1 of Article 427 of the Administrative Offenses Code. The inspection revealed that the clinic lacked round-the-clock security, a security alarm system, and the necessary technical equipment for storing narcotic drugs.
The clinic's guilt was confirmed by protocols, police reports, and witness testimonies. A representative of the clinic admitted guilt and stated that all violations have been fully rectified. He asked the court not to suspend the clinic's operations, arguing that it would negatively impact the provision of round-the-clock medical care to patients.
The court considered the admission of guilt, remorse, full rectification of violations, and the absence of aggravating circumstances as mitigating factors. The clinic was found guilty on both charges and fined 346,000 tenge and 216,000 tenge, totaling 562,000 tenge. The court rulings have not yet entered into legal force.
