The Russian-Ukrainian roster, based in Serbia, advanced to the grand finals through the lower bracket. In the decisive match, Team Spirit defeated TEAM VISION 3:2, a team also featuring players from Russia and Ukraine.
This marks the third title for Team Spirit at The International, setting a new tournament record. Previously, OG and Team Liquid had each won twice.
As champions, Team Spirit will receive 42.5% of the total prize pool, which exceeded $3.3 million. TEAM VISION, as runners-up, earned 13% of that amount.
Third place went to Team Yandex, which included Kazakh players Alimzhan "Watson" Islambekov and Arman "Malady" Orazbayev, along with two Russians and a Macedonian. The team reached the finals of both the upper and lower brackets, losing to TEAM VISION and Team Spirit respectively. The final result will earn Team Yandex 9% of the total prize pool.
