A tragedy occurred in a flooded area of the Aktobe region, where rescuers recovered the body of a minor from the water, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the regional emergency department, on July 23 in the village of Akkum, Aiteke Bi district, the body of a teenager was recovered from the water in a flooded area.
"Preliminary data indicate that the teenager drowned while swimming in a place where swimming is prohibited. The circumstances of the incident are being established," said the Aktobe region emergency department.
The department reminded citizens to follow water safety rules, not to swim in unauthorized or prohibited areas, and not to leave children unattended near bodies of water.
