A teenager was injured by an electric shock on railway tracks in the Kostanay region. The incident occurred in the regional center, reports infohub.kz.
According to the KAZINFORM news agency, a schoolboy born in 2013 suffered a severe electrical injury on the railway tracks in Kostanay. He had arrived in the regional center with friends from Rudny. The teenager is currently in intensive care.
The Transport Police Department told NUR.KZ correspondent that on September 4, the transport police department at Kostanay station opened a criminal case regarding a violation of safety regulations for movement or operation of railway transport.
"Currently, all necessary investigative measures are being carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident," the department noted.
In August of this year, it was reported that doctors in Kostanay managed to save the life of a 15-year-old boy who was struck by an electric shock of more than 27,000 volts. He was injured while trying to take a photo.
