Almaty fans of Kanye West, preparing to see the star on the stage of the Central Stadium, have been advised to download their tickets in advance, reports infohub.kz.
The organizers, in coordination with local authorities, have requested a temporary restriction of Tele2/Altel connectivity in the area to ensure the proper functioning of special technical equipment used during the concert, which operates on the same frequency range.
It turned out that similar technical requirements were applied during events in other countries, including Georgia and Turkey.
Tele2/Altel has accommodated the organizers and the akimat's request, providing the necessary technical assistance for the concert.
"At the same time, Tele2/Altel is using all available technical capabilities to maintain the availability of mobile communications and internet for customers in the event area. However, the temporary restriction of part of the frequencies, necessary to meet the organizers' technical requirements, combined with the expected high network load, may affect mobile internet speeds at certain times.
To make your concert visit as comfortable as possible, we recommend downloading your tickets, QR codes, and other information needed for entry to the event to your phone in advance, before arriving at the Central Stadium," the city authorities said in a statement.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that additional measures would be taken in the city to ensure the safety and comfortable movement of spectators, including traffic management and public transport operations.
