The Park Live Almaty 2026 music festival concluded at Pervomayskiye Ponds. Tele2, the technical partner of the summer's main event, once again ensured seamless connectivity, marking the operator's 15th anniversary in the market. The company's 5G network successfully handled peak loads throughout the three-day festival, reports infohub.kz.
Over 20,000 Tele2 subscribers attended the festival, enjoying reliable connectivity. Data speeds on the 5G network exceeded 500 Mbps. Even during headliner performances by Jack White, Gorillaz, and The Offspring, users could instantly post stories and videos, and send video messages right from the dance floor. Payments at food courts and other popular services worked without a hitch. In total, Tele2 customers used nearly 7 terabytes of data at maximum speed, equivalent to transmitting about two hundred thousand HD photos.
Tele2 also catered to customers of other operators. Together with Jusan Mobile, the company launched a pilot Public Wi-Fi project at the festival. This allowed every guest to stay online for free, with no data limits, regardless of their SIM card provider. Connecting took just a couple of taps and was available right on the venue. The project aimed to enhance the customer experience: at events of this scale, stable connectivity is a basic need, and Tele2 and Jusan Mobile strove to provide it for everyone.
A special attraction at the festival was Tele2's chill zone. Here, visitors could charge their phones for free (perhaps the most sought-after service), connect to Wi-Fi, and watch the live stream from the stage on a big screen. Guests could relax in the shade, play games, or visit tattoo and glitter points to add some sparkle to their look. And of course, no one left without merch and gifts from the operator.
