Users of the Telegram messenger across Kazakhstan have faced widespread service disruptions. The outage began at approximately 11:25 and is ongoing, according to infohub.kz.

Complaints about Telegram's unavailability are coming from various regions of the country. In response, a correspondent reached out to the press service of Kazakhtelecom JSC for comment. They confirmed the presence of restrictions and reduced service availability.

"According to monitoring data, a sharp drop in traffic towards Telegram has also been recorded at key international peering points in Frankfurt and Moscow. In the area of responsibility of Kazakhtelecom JSC, no accidents, technical failures, or internal infrastructure violations have been recorded. The operator's network is operating normally," the press service assured.

To determine the causes of the situation, the company has sent an official request to Telegram's administrative and technical team.
