The body of an 18-year-old man who went missing while celebrating his birthday on the Caspian Sea coast has been found 51 km from Aktau, according to the website infohub.kz.
The Department of Emergency Situations of Mangystau Region reported: "Today, 51 km from Aktau, rescuers discovered the body in the water, 10 meters from the shoreline, and recovered it. The body was then handed over to police."
Just over a week ago, the 18-year-old resident of the region disappeared while swimming at an unguarded beach. He was celebrating his birthday with friends and then vanished. A large-scale search involving rescuers was conducted over several days.
