In Temirtau, a married couple's own son is suspected of their murder — neighbors say the woman screamed and called for help, according to infohub.kz.
Neighbors said that on the night in question, the woman who was later found murdered ran out onto the landing, screaming loudly and calling for help. Residents then called the police. It is noted that the door had to be broken down to get into the apartment — everything inside was covered in blood.
The 20-year-old man is believed to have inflicted six stab wounds on his father and nine on his mother before fleeing.
"He killed them, locked the door and left. He was caught in the morning. Word went around the building chat that he had been caught. They say he was supposedly unhappy with his parents — in the sense that they were restricting his freedom. What freedom, I don't know," local resident Yelena Maskayeva said.
According to neighbors, the family moved here a year and a half ago. They say the son was quiet and even timid. What happened came as a shock to everyone, neighbors admit.
