TikTok, the popular short-video platform, is rolling out a series of updates to its comments section, including voice messages, polls, and the ability to attach up to nine photos in a single reply, reports infohub.kz.
One of the key features will be voice comments of up to 60 seconds. They will allow users to express their thoughts verbally, adding interactivity to discussions. The gradual rollout of this option will begin within the next month, starting with users aged 18 and older.
Additionally, polls will be introduced in comments. Video creators will be able to create them with up to five answer options, and results will be displayed directly in the comments section, simplifying audience feedback collection.
TikTok is also enhancing photo capabilities. Users will now be able to add Live Photos to their replies—images that capture a short burst of motion and sound before and after the shutter button is pressed. This will make comments more lively and dynamic.
Another feature coming soon: users will be able to attach up to nine photos to a single comment. The images will be displayed in a carousel format, allowing users to swipe through them, which is especially convenient for visual responses.
