Til Schweiger, star of cult films "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" and "Inglourious Basterds," has arrived in Almaty to take part in the filming of the fourth installment of "Armour of God" alongside Jackie Chan, reports infohub.kz.
The Kazakh media company producing the film confirmed that the renowned actor has joined the crew of "Armour of God: Ultimatum." In a statement, the company expressed that it is a great honor to work with an artist whose filmography includes over 80 movies. They also promised that audiences will soon see Schweiger together with Jackie Chan on screen.
It is worth recalling that in late September 2025, Jackie Chan visited Almaty, which caused a great stir among Kazakhs. Later, it became known that the filming of the fourth part of "Armour of God" would take place in Kazakhstan. In June, filming of the international project began in the Mangystau region, and in July, the crew moved to Almaty.
