Australian professional boxer Tim Tszyu defeated American Errol Spence Jr. in a 12-round bout that headlined a fight night in Sydney, reports infohub.kz.

The fight was contested at middleweight (up to 72.6 kg). It went the full 12 rounds, and the judges scored it unanimously for Tszyu: 117:111, 118:110, 117:111.

For the 31-year-old Australian, this was his third consecutive win. He now has a record of 28 wins (18 KOs) against three losses, two of them by stoppage. Tszyu is a former world champion in the super welterweight division. His father is the famed boxer Kostya Tszyu.

For 36-year-old Spence, this was his first fight in three years, and he lost for the second straight time. His previous loss came to Terence Crawford in a bout for the undisputed welterweight championship. Spence's record stands at 28 wins (22 KOs). He previously held multiple titles in the welterweight division.
