In the 21st round of the Kazakhstan Premier League, FC Tobol from Kostanay defeated FC Kaisar from Kyzylorda 3:2 at home, reports infohub.kz.
The match, held at the Central Stadium in Kostanay, was rich in goals. By the middle of the first half, the hosts were leading by two goals. Belarusian defender Maksim Myakish opened the scoring, and Kazakh defender Aleksandr Marochkin doubled the lead. In both cases, assists were credited to former national team captain Askhat Tagybergen.
The guests did not give up and responded with a brace from Kazakhstan national team forward Aliyar Mukhammed, leveling the score. However, Serbian striker Uros Milovanovic secured the win for Tobol by sending the third ball into Kaisar's net.
After this match, the Kostanay side have 28 points and occupy seventh place in the standings. Kaisar, with 20 points, are in 13th position.
