During his remarks, the Head of State again emphasized that the historic state visit of the King and Queen of the Belgians opens a new glorious chapter in the history of bilateral relations and serves as a vivid testament to the friendship between the peoples of Kazakhstan and Belgium.

– Your Majesty, King, under your wise and decisive leadership, Belgium remains a country united in its diversity and open to the world. Your dedication to your people and tireless efforts to strengthen mutual understanding between Belgium's various communities embody the unifying role of the Crown. In these challenging times, your moral authority and unwavering sense of duty inspire confidence and deserve deep respect. I am sincerely grateful to you for your friendship and your unwavering commitment over many years to strengthening ties with Kazakhstan. I am glad that today we can together contribute to solidifying these ties. Thanks to your tireless efforts and substantial support, we look to the future of our cooperation with great optimism and confidence, – said the President.

Qasym-Jomart Toqaev shared some results of the productive talks, which took place in an open, friendly and constructive atmosphere.

– We confirmed our determination to strengthen the multifaceted partnership between Kazakhstan and Belgium. Our relations are not burdened by political disagreements or unresolved issues. This creates a solid foundation for expanding cooperation in all areas. Economic interaction remains one of the key pillars of our bilateral relations. Belgium is among Kazakhstan's leading investment partners. Since 2005, the volume of Belgian investments in our economy has exceeded $15 billion. We agreed to intensify interaction and seize new opportunities in transport and logistics, critical minerals, energy, industry, agriculture, biotechnology, digitalization and space technology. I welcome the participation of leading Belgian companies in this historic visit. This clearly demonstrates Belgium's confidence in Kazakhstan's economic potential. Our Government will continue to create favorable conditions for expanding the presence of Belgian investors and implementing new promising projects in Kazakhstan. Their full and timely implementation will be under my personal control, – assured the Head of State.

As the President noted, tomorrow's Kazakhstan-Belgium Business Forum, the Rectors' Forum and the round table on critical minerals will become significant platforms for translating our common aspirations into concrete results.

It is expected that following these events, dozens of bilateral agreements and documents will be signed, which will give additional impetus to the development of the partnership.
