At the Kazakhstan-China Investment Forum, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that strengthening eternal friendship with China is one of the most important goals of the republic's foreign policy, reports infohub.kz.
Referring to the shared history of the two peoples, the head of state emphasized that the Chinese people have never caused any harm to the Kazakh people. According to him, over many years the two peoples have coexisted in true harmony, maintaining mutual respect and supporting each other.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev added that in the current unstable and uncertain times, Kazakhstan and China as reliable partners must act together, shoulder to shoulder, to confront numerous challenges and threats.
In conclusion, the head of state cited a Chinese proverb: "There is a meaningful proverb in Chinese: 人心齐，泰山移 — 'if people unite, they can move Mount Tai.' I am confident that Kazakhstan and China, as two friendly and neighboring states, together will successfully accomplish any task," concluded Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
