Kazakh President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev sent congratulatory telegrams to Turkmenistan's leadership on the occasion of the country's 35th Independence anniversary, infohub.kz reports.
According to the presidential press service, the congratulatory telegrams were addressed to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The head of state noted that brotherly Turkmenistan is marking this holiday as an authoritative, developed state whose achievements are rooted in the accord and unity, rich culture and creative spirit of the Turkmen people.
"Over the years of Independence, your country has achieved impressive success in socio-economic modernization and in improving the well-being of its citizens, and has strengthened its international standing as a state firmly committed to the principles of positive neutrality. Kazakhstan values its friendly relations with Turkmenistan and attaches great importance to strengthening multifaceted cooperation in the spirit of good-neighborliness and mutual support," the congratulatory message reads.
The Kazakh president wished Turkmenistan's leadership new accomplishments in state affairs and the brotherly Turkmen people well-being and prosperity.
