President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqaev has congratulated citizens on the national holiday of Republic Day, noting that the current year opens a new cycle in the nation's chronicle, infohub.kz reports.

In the congratulatory message circulated by the Akorda, the head of state stressed the exceptional significance of the holiday, which symbolizes the revival of Kazakhstan's centuries-old statehood. "We have traveled a long and thorny path of sovereign development, filled with landmark events and substantial achievements. By the 35th anniversary of Independence, Kazakhstan has established itself as a mature state with a strong economy and a progressive society, a respected and influential middle power," the address reads.

According to the President, this year marks a milestone stage — in essence, a new cycle in the nation's chronicle. "We are building a developed, progressive, secular state in which institutional strength and the quality of human capital are the guarantee of global competitiveness. The entry into force of the Constitution became an event of special historical significance that drew the attention of the international community. The Constitution gave a powerful impetus to the renewal of the public administration system and to fundamental changes in politics, the economy, culture and the social sphere," he added.

As the head of state noted, guided by constitutional values, Kazakhstan will firmly follow its strategic course of steady reforms, implementing all the tasks at hand. "We are now systematically introducing advanced technologies and innovations and expanding the use of artificial intelligence. We are opening modern production facilities, modernizing infrastructure, and building schools, hospitals and other social facilities. Our plans include many projects aimed at improving the well-being of the people. But most importantly, as a nation we look confidently to the future, united around constructive goals and inspiring ideals. The pursuit of knowledge and conscientious work, high responsibility and genuine patriotism are becoming an integral part of our citizens' worldview," the congratulation says.

Qasym-Jomart Toqaev noted that Kazakhstanis are building a common home, strengthening the spirit of the nation, shaping a new public ethic, and entrenching the values of Law and Order, Cleanliness and Love of Nature, Unity and Harmony. "I am convinced that through joint efforts we will strengthen our Sovereignty and build a Just, Safe, Progressive and Clean Kazakhstan. May our sky-blue flag fly proudly! May our Motherland prosper! Happy Republic Day!" the President said.
