President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqaev met with fellow citizens studying and working in the Republic of Korea during his state visit, reports infohub.kz.

The head of state spoke with the Kazakhs and listened to their stories about their lives and work. The compatriots shared their achievements in work and study, as well as their future plans with the president.

Qasym-Jomart Toqaev, in turn, spoke about the political reforms and socio-economic transformations being carried out in our country aimed at improving the well-being of the people.

"Our compatriots shared their achievements in work and study, and also told Qasym-Jomart Toqaev about their future plans. At the end of the meeting, the president wished success to students and all citizens of Kazakhstan living in the Republic of Korea," the Akorda statement said.

Recall that on September 14, Qasym-Jomart Toqaev arrived in the Republic of Korea on a state visit at the invitation of President Lee Jae-myung. During the visit to Seoul, the president awarded the Order of Dostyk (Friendship) II degree to state and public figures of South Korea.

Yesterday, the head of state held a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, Han Duck-soo, where cooperation between the countries was discussed. Then, at the residence of the President of the Republic of Korea, an official welcoming ceremony for Qasym-Jomart Toqaev and talks with Lee Jae-myung took place.
