President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Toqaev has signed a decree reappointing Yerbol Myrzabosynov as Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic, reports the website infohub.kz.

According to the official statement from Akorda, Yerbol Kuantayevich Myrzabosynov will continue to lead the ministry responsible for the development of the tourism industry and the sports sector of the country.

According to biographical data published on the website of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerbol Myrzabosynov was born in 1984 in the East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical Institute, the Kazakh Humanitarian and Law Innovation University, and the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism.

His career began in 2005 as an assistant and coach-teacher at the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture and Sports at Semipalatinsk State Pedagogical Institute.

From 2009 to 2014, he worked as a teacher at the Department of Physical Education, and later as head of the Department of Physical Education at the State Medical University in Semey. Simultaneously, from 2006 to 2018, Myrzabosynov was a coach-teacher at the State Institution "East Kazakhstan Regional School of Higher Sports Excellence in Mass Sports".

From 2018 to 2020, he headed the sports club "Kyzylzhar Arlandary", and from 2020 to 2021 he served as managing director of the association "Qazaq kuresi". From March 2021 to February 2023, Myrzabosynov was rector of the Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports.

Prior to his latest appointment, he was chairman of the Committee on Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
