Toyota has introduced a new electric crossover, the bZ Woodland, equipped with dual electric motors, all-wheel drive, and a combined output of 375 horsepower. However, the model's main feature is not its performance but its attempt to combine an electric vehicle with off-road practicality, reports infohub.kz.
The electric crossover with SUV character features an all-wheel-drive system with X-MODE and a ground clearance of about 21.3 centimeters. It also comes with all-terrain tires, roof rails, and the ability to tow a trailer weighing up to 1.6 tons. Thus, this is not just a more powerful version of the standard bZ, but a model with a clear focus on outdoor activities.
The driving range on standard tires is approximately 452 kilometers on the EPA cycle. With optional all-terrain tires, this figure drops to about 418 kilometers.
Another interesting feature is the charging system. The 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery supports fast DC charging: from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes under ideal conditions. There is also a battery pre-conditioning feature that speeds up charging in cold weather.
As for the claimed 375 horsepower, it's not just a number on paper. Toyota says the sprint to 60 miles per hour (about 97 kilometers per hour) takes about 4.5 seconds.
