A six-year-old girl died in a fire that broke out in one of Almaty's residential complexes. This was reported by neighbors of the deceased and Kazakh TV channels, according to infohub.kz.

It became known the day before that a fire occurred in one of Almaty's residential complexes. It was noted that one of the victims died despite resuscitation efforts by medics.

According to the website of KTK TV channel, there is currently no one inside the building. Police officers are on duty near the entrances. They only let residents in to collect necessary belongings. Outsiders are prohibited from entering, and the fire investigation continues at the scene. "They found a six-year-old girl unconscious. Medics tried to save her, but failed. Six people also sought medical help," the TV channel reports.

The Astana TV channel also reports that eyewitnesses spoke about the child's death. "The girl who died was 6 years old. She died in an ambulance, my daughter talked to her. Our family was the last to leave this residential complex. They couldn't find us because everything was full of smoke. We were already saying goodbye to our relatives because we started losing consciousness. And we were brought back to our senses in the ambulance," said Zlata Stepanova, a resident of the building.

Recall that the Almaty Public Health Department also reported on the condition of other victims.
