US President Donald Trump made a sharp statement about the situation in France, linking the country's unrest to mass migration and claiming that Islam seeks to take over the state, according to infohub.kz.
The American politician shared his opinion on Truth Social. "What's happening in France is nothing more than out-of-control mass migration," he wrote.
According to Trump, the situation is not about schools. He separately commented on Islam. "It's not about the schools, it's about Islam wanting to take over a once-great country!" he said.
Earlier, it was reported that a 15-year-old student had part of his arm torn off during protests in France.
Recall that in late September, France was gripped by protests by high school students — for a week now, students have been blocking educational institutions. More than 600 people were reported detained.
BBC Russian Service reported that 65 school staff, including 40 school principals, were injured during the unrest. In addition, mass protests spread to Belgium — demonstrations took place in two cities in the country.
