US President Donald Trump has said the United States won a war with Venezuela in just one day, and also spoke about Greenland's importance to the country, infohub.kz reports.
Fox News aired footage of Trump addressing voters ahead of the upcoming US midterm elections. In his latest remarks, he spoke about the significance of Greenland and Venezuelan oil to the United States.
"We won the war in Venezuela in just one day, and now we're getting hundreds of billions of dollars from oil sales. Every day oil comes to us from Venezuela, which, as you know, is an extremely important source," Trump said.
In his remarks he also mentioned Greenland. According to Trump, the US has struck a deal with Denmark and Europe, and he stressed that it is of enormous strategic importance to the United States.
"Now we have gotten Greenland on unlimited terms," Trump asserted.
Recall that in July Trump also said the US had defeated Venezuela in one day and routed Iran.
