US President Donald Trump has commented on efforts to settle the conflict in Ukraine following recent visits by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and Kyiv, according to infohub.kz.

The White House chief was asked whether a three-way meeting involving the leaders of the United States, Ukraine, and Russia was possible. "It could happen," he replied.

Trump also commented on his phone call with Vladimir Putin. "We had a great conversation," the White House chief said, praising the talks.

In addition, the US president said that Vladimir Putin wants the Ukrainian conflict resolved. "And if Zelensky wants to make a deal, that would be very good," Trump said.

Recall that over the past weekend, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner visited Moscow and held talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. They then met with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. After that, Witkoff commented on possible talks between Zelensky, Putin, and Trump.
