President Donald Trump has called on Republicans to expand a sanctions bill targeting Russia to include Iran, according to infohub.kz.
The president made the statement on his Truth Social platform. "Republicans should add Iran to the Russia sanctions bill. That's what Lindsey wanted, and it should have happened. Important!" Trump wrote.
Last week, it was reported that Senator Lindsey Graham, an ally of Donald Trump, had died at his home. Later, his office cited preliminary cause of death as complications from cardiovascular disease.
A few days later, Graham's sister took his seat in the U.S. Senate, and President Trump endorsed her candidacy.
