US President Donald Trump said Washington had no choice but to launch a military operation against Iran, and he would do it "100 more times." This was reported by infohub.kz.
In an interview with WABC radio, the American leader explained that the United States was forced to use force because Tehran seeks to possess nuclear weapons. "The reason I did it is because we had no choice. And I would do it again 100 times. They cannot have nuclear weapons, and they will not have them," Trump stressed.
Earlier, the White House chief posted a map of the Strait of Hormuz on Truth Social with the caption "New US Territory." In response, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said Tehran would "correct the misconceptions" of the US president.
Trump also said that negotiations between the US and Iran are currently not underway and are not planned. Meanwhile, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf criticized the Trump administration, calling them clowns.
