Truth Social has launched a new service for traders and financial firms that provides the fastest possible access to posts by U.S. President Donald Trump. The subscription costs $100,000 per month, according to infohub.kz.

The service, called Truth API, went live on August 2. It offers high-speed access to posts by the U.S. president and other popular authors on the platform.

Unlike most social networks, Truth Social not only spreads news but also becomes a source of it. Trump often uses the platform for statements on tariffs, international conflicts, energy, monetary policy, and individual companies. Markets often react within seconds to such posts.

Critics of the project argue that the service raises questions about the possible commercial use of the presidential status. Irene Aldridge, head of Able Alpha Trading, said the situation looks unprecedented.

"We have a U.S. president who is at the center of everything, makes decisions, and discloses this information to a selected group in advance," she said.

Trump's press office declined to comment on the launch and referred questions to the platform's parent company, Trump Media & Technology Group. The company said the criticism stems from "ideological rejection of the free market" and a misunderstanding of the difference between public and non-public information.

According to AP, high-frequency traders, who profit from price fluctuations within milliseconds, may show interest in the service. Experts note that even a slight time advantage can yield significant profits when it comes to posts by the U.S. president.

Additional interest in the subscription is linked to Trump's increasing mentions of public companies. In April, after his positive mention of Palantir Technologies, the company's shares saw their strongest intraday gain in a year. That same month, Intel shares rose in after-hours trading following a Trump post praising the company.

Truth API could become a new revenue source for Trump Media & Technology Group. If just three clients subscribe, the company's monthly revenue would increase by nearly $300,000. For comparison, last year the company generated about $3.7 million in revenue.

Meanwhile, Trump Media shares have fallen about 75% since Trump returned to the White House, and the company continues to report multi-million-dollar losses.

The service has already drawn attention from Democrats. Senator Elizabeth Warren said that if Democrats gain control of Congress, they intend to investigate the launch of Truth API. She called the project an example of "open corruption."

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Trump jokingly said he wants to run for president again.
