An aircraft experienced a technical failure directly on the runway at Turkistan Airport on September 11. The Telegram channel Berkut 001 reported this, citing the Transport Police Department, according to infohub.kz.

"On September 11, at Turkistan Airport, a technical failure occurred on the runway of one of the aircraft. Necessary work is currently underway to fix it. There are no injuries," the department said.

It is not specified what exactly the malfunction was or which aircraft was involved.

The airport's online board on September 11 also showed changes to several flights. In particular, the times of some arrivals and departures were adjusted.

Specialists continue to fix the malfunction. No injuries have been reported.

Earlier, Kursiv wrote that a FlyArystan aircraft caught fire during scheduled technical work at Almaty International Airport. The fire was quickly extinguished, and there were no passengers or crew on board.

One Air Astana Group employee was injured and was released from the hospital after receiving medical assistance. The aircraft was temporarily taken out of service, and Air Astana and Almaty Airport launched an internal investigation.
