Kazakh humorist Tursynbek Kabatov shared his thoughts on the current football tournament on his social media page, reports infohub.kz.
Kabatov posted a humorous take on the FIFA World Cup.
“Final 2026. Messi with the child he raised. Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi. Messi is probably thinking now: ‘I shouldn’t have spat in his mouth,’” Kabatov wrote.
Earlier, Kabatov’s eldest daughter, Ademi Tursynbekkyzy, showed off her new car on social media. Kabatov also celebrated her graduation from a foreign university and thanked those who offered advice along the way.
Who is Tursynbek Kabatov?
Tursynbek Amangaliuly Kabatov is a Kazakh humorist, actor, KVN player, and popular satirist. He was born on October 10, 1979, in the village of Akpater, Kaztalov District, West Kazakhstan Region.
He is widely known for his masterful delivery of Kazakh jokes, sharp wit, and relaxed stage presence. His work humorously reflects current social issues, everyday life, and national character traits.
Kabatov began his career in 2000 at the West Kazakhstan Regional Philharmonic named after Garifolla Kurmangaliev. In 2001, he joined the Club of the Cheerful and Resourceful (KVN), shaping his path in comedy.
During his student years, he played for teams including “Agrarka sarbazdary,” “Astana.kz,” and “Kazakhs.” His performances with the “Kazakhs” team brought him particular fame.
In 2010, his team became vice-champions of the KVN Premier League. He was also named Best KVN Player among CIS countries.
Later, Kabatov moved into solo work, performing in Astana and Almaty. He participated in TV projects and worked as a producer and organizer.
He founded the theater “Bazar zhok” and contributed to the development of comedy projects. He also directed the theater “Äzil älemi.”
Kabatov’s achievements have been recognized with state and public awards. In 2014, he received the title “Excellence in Culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and became an honorary citizen of Kaztalov District. In 2015, he was awarded the title “Honored Figure of Kazakhstan.”
Today, Tursynbek Kabatov is regarded as one of the prominent figures in the arts, having created his own style on the Kazakh stage and contributed to the development of humor and satire.
