The cult saga 'Twilight' is returning to theaters in Kazakhstan. The Kinopark cinema chain is launching a re-release of the franchise starting September 17, reports infohub.kz.
The event has already caused a stir among Kazakhstani fans: over 700 tickets have been sold on services since sales opened.
According to published information, after the first part, the remaining films of the franchise will gradually hit the big screens. The re-release is planned until the end of 2026.
Ticket prices vary depending on time and category: adult tickets range from 2,300 to 3,100 tenge, student tickets from 1,700 to 2,000 tenge, and children's tickets from 1,500 tenge. In Almaty, presales are already underway, while in Astana, the schedule has not yet been announced.
On social media, Kazakhstani fans of the saga are discussing the chance to see the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen on the big screen again and sharing memories of the films.

'Twilight' was released in 2008 and became the start of one of the most popular teen film franchises. The story of Bella and vampire Edward spawned four sequels: 'New Moon,' 'Eclipse,' and two parts of 'Breaking Dawn.'
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that an American film festival will be held in three Almaty cinemas. City residents will be able to watch Hollywood classics like 'Back to the Future,' 'Apollo 13,' and 'Jurassic Park' for free.
