British professional boxer Tyson Fury defeated Poland's Mariusz Wach at a tournament in Pattaya, Thailand, reports infohub.kz.
The heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) clash headlined the boxing event. Scheduled for ten rounds, the fight ended early when Wach's corner stopped the bout after the seventh round, giving Fury a technical knockout victory.
This marks Fury's second straight win since his return to the ring. In April, he defeated Russia's Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision. The Briton had previously announced his retirement after two losses to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk in championship fights.
The 37-year-old Fury now has 36 wins (25 by knockout), two losses, and one draw. Wach suffered his 14th loss, six by stoppage. The 46-year-old Pole's record stands at 39 wins (20 KOs).
