The Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates reported the interception of an Iranian drone over the country's territorial waters, according to infohub.kz.

In an official statement posted on social media platform X, the ministry said that the UAE Air Force responded promptly to the detection of an unmanned aerial vehicle approaching from Iran. The ministry confirmed that the country's armed forces are on high alert to counter any potential threats, and air defense systems continue round-the-clock monitoring and protection of the nation's airspace.

The statement also emphasized that the public should rely solely on official sources of information and refrain from spreading rumors or inaccurate data.

According to Xinhua News Agency, Iran's army announced attacks on the US Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE using drones. The strikes targeted areas where American helicopters and personnel were stationed, involving several dozen drones.

Earlier reports indicated that the US struck Iranian facilities in the Strait of Hormuz to prevent the laying of naval mines. In response, Iran announced strikes on US air bases in Jordan.
