A reshuffle has taken place in the Ulytau region: Dastan Ryspekov has been dismissed as akim, replaced by Yesset Baiken, who had served as deputy akim of Astana since 2022. The decree was signed by President of Kazakhstan Qasym-Jomart Toqaev, according to infohub.kz.
Before being appointed head of the region, Dastan Ryspekov led the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports. Earlier, a former energy minister became akim of the Atyrau region.
