American R&B singer Usher has sharply responded to a conspiracy theory from fans who claimed that a body double appeared on stage instead of him during a joint show with Chris Brown in Nashville, reports infohub.kz.
The rumors were sparked by the behavior of a fan named Gabrielle Cheyenne, whom the singer invited on stage. The woman seemed distant, refused to lie on the bed during a romantic song, and was eventually escorted off. Later, on social media, she claimed she only agreed to come up for Chris Brown and that the person in front of her was not the real Usher but a lookalike.
In response, the artist posted a message to fans, mocking such speculation. At the next concert in Birmingham, he warned the audience not to come on stage unless they wanted to participate: "Don't bring your fifth points up here if you don't want to be here." Usher emphasized that he always performs live and does not need a stand-in.
