The Trump administration earned over $13 billion in revenue from Venezuelan oil sales in 2026, reports infohub.kz, citing the Financial Times.
Venezuelan oil exports have been under U.S. control since President Nicolás Maduro was captured and Vice President Delcy Rodríguez assumed leadership of the country.
The value of barrels shipped since January stands at roughly $11.5 billion, but based on historical pricing models, the total is expected to exceed $13 billion.
In March, the U.S. Treasury Department authorized a series of transactions involving Venezuela's state-owned company PdVSA for oil supplies to the American market. All operations previously banned under the Venezuela sanctions regulations have been permitted.
