Music, altitude and a touch of madness — Kazakhstan's National Guard military band performed right on a fairground ride in Karaganda. As the carousel spun, the musicians kept playing as if they were on the most ordinary of stages. The only member of the ensemble who stayed on the ground was the drummer. Karaganda had never seen anything like it, the website infohub.kz reports.

Well-known KVN performer and comedian Daniyar Jumadilov showcased several different pieces on the dombra, captioning the video: “Нағыз қазақ — домбыра.” But the most unexpected moment comes at the very end: a voice off camera asks him to play “Pirates of the Caribbean.” And that is when it gets especially interesting — how the legendary music from the Hollywood film will sound on Kazakhstan's national instrument.

Charisma, talent and chills from the very first notes — guys from Uzbekistan performed a cover of the iconic soundtrack from the Turkish series Kara Sevda, and it seems it turned out almost too beautiful.
